„Love at first touch“
The Thylie shirt is more than just a nice shirt. With its wide selection of sleeve lengths for each type of neckline, the collection impresses not only through its vast range of models and colours but in its combination of double-layered fronts and the use of the finest Peruvian PIMA cotton quality with just a little elastane, which ensures unparalleled comfort.
Cuts and fabrics have been designed precisely to meet a woman’s needs. The double- layered fronts prevent any see-through effects and flatter any shape. The Thylie line was born out of a great demand for a comprehensive, high-quality line of basic shirts for every woman. Thylie – a shirt you’ll fall in love with!
The high-quality line of women’s shirts was created and developed by Monika Hess, a highly experienced product expert in the field of women’s wear. With the Thylie brand, Jürg Brändli and his company, Ragman, which has been a perennial success story since 1980 and is now one of Europe’s leading suppliers of knitwear, are entering a new market segment. Ragman, based in Waldshut, Germany, is known for top quality, sustainable and controlled production and for its appreciative, close collaboration with all its partners.
The collection’s main product are its double-layered, fine cotton shirts made from 94%
Pima cotton and 6% elastane. In addition, the product line includes fine undershirts (93%
Pima cotton/7% elastane), sportier ribbed shirts (95% Pima cotton/5% elastane) and a
small selection of Pima cotton/polyester polo shirts, including some that are button-down
and long-sleeved, to complete the collection. An additional selection of polo shirts in
high-grade Easy Care quality is on offer as well.
These genuine Pima cotton Thylie shirts guarantee a unique wearing experience.

In her many years working for a number of well-known textile companies, Monika Hess, a trained dressmaker and experienced women’s wear buyer, was in charge of developing collections and of production and purchasing in the commercial sector before assuming responsibility for premium labels as well as the development and production of private labels in the exclusive segment. Since 2014 she has been the owner of a specialised shop in the premium sector, where she is on the front line every day.
“THYLIE is not a ‘fashion label’. In developing the collection, I deliberately focused on the essentials. I put particular emphasis on premium quality, top workmanship, attention to detail and a variety of models that allow every woman to find her favourite shirt.” This, in Monika Hess’ words, is what sets THYLIE apart.
With the realisation of THYLIE, Jürg Brändli, owner of the Ragtex Group, enters a completely new field: the premium women’s wear market. That synergy of so much experience and expertise in the women’s wear sector together with the RAGMAN company, which was founded in 1980 and is now one of Europe’s leading suppliers of knitwear, is an extremely promising constellation. The RAGMAN company is known for unmatched quality, sustainable and controlled production and for its appreciative, close cooperation with all its partners.
We want our partners, employees and everyone who wears Thylie to feel great, which is why we follow clear ethical and ecological principles.
We strive for an environmentally friendly manufacturing process
along the entire production chain – from raw material to packaging.
Some specific examples: Only environmentally friendly colour
blends are used for dyeing, without any banned or questionable
additives. Only recycled packaging is used for shipping, and existing
packaging is largely recycled. Thus, many of our manufacturers are
OEKOTEX 100 certified and committed (in writing with each
delivery) to adhering to ecologically sound production methods. We
also put particular focus on fair and humane working conditions for
the extraction of raw materials and in production and are committed
to social issues. All our main suppliers are in the EU’s standardised
BSCI process or are already BSCI or SA 8000 certified. This means
that independent institutions monitor important aspects such as
avoiding child labour or the rights and health protection of
employees. Furthermore, our producers’ state-of-the-art factories
also meet the WRAP standards required by the United States.
